Hardly a day goes by that we don’t get a question from someone along the lines of “does <Office Product> do <insert function>, and why doesn’t it?”. Or, there’s the “when will Microsoft change <Office Product> to allow us to do <insert function>” question. Bottom line… we don’t know, and we have virtually no sway to influence Microsoft to change their software… but you do!
Microsoft uses a third-party tool called UserVoice to collect feedback and allow others to vote on what they feel is important to them. It’s basically a virtual suggestion box for each Microsoft product, and you can either add a suggestion on something you’d like changed, or you can find a suggestion that matches your needs, and vote for it. Microsoft pays a lot of attention to the UserVoice input, and it drives a fair amount of their product development efforts.
To make it a little easier for you to find the UserVoice site for each particular product, here’s a list of all the UserVoice sites that relate to things we use (or will/might use) in Office 365:
Feel free to go out there and add a suggestion or vote up an existing one that would make your life easier.
