End Of Meeting notifications in Microsoft Teams

I’ll admit it… I get frustrated when someone is running a meeting, the ending time is quickly approaching, and they seem oblivious to the clock. Microsoft Teams meetings now help address that a bit by providing End Of Meeting Notifications at the five minute mark. Here’s how it works…

At the “five minutes to go” mark, Microsoft Teams will display the following in the meeting window:

This appears on the screen for 10 seconds, and then disappears. It doesn’t actually shut down the meeting or anything (a future “enhancement”?), but at least it’s a reminder to the attendees that it’s time to wrap things up.
