Designating a correct answer in a Microsoft Teams poll

Microsoft Forms is a great way to poll your audience in a Microsoft Teams meeting. Now there’s a feature that also allows you to select a correct answer in a Poll question so that people know if their answer was right. Here’s how that works…

In your Microsoft Teams meeting, use the Polls tab to create a new poll that you’ll use in your meeting. If you don’t have the Polls tab visible in your meeting, use the Plus tab to add it:

When you select Create New Poll, select the option for a multiple choice quiz (which will allow you to select a correct answer):

Once you have your question done, use the checkmark icon to select the correct answer and then click Save:

In your Teams meeting, you’ll see a Forms icon in the menu bar. When you click that icon, you’ll see the question you created earlier:

Once you answer the question, you’ll either see the green icon to show you selected the right answer…

… or the red icon to show you selected an incorrect answer:
