Microsoft has rolled out a new option that helps you control certain automatic email notifications you get within your SharePoint environment. Here’s how this option works…
To find the settings area, go to your SharePoint Start page, click on the Settings icon in the upper-right corner, and select Email notification settings:

In this panel, you can turn off Comments on your pages, Replies to comments, Likes on your pages, or Digests of news posts you’ve missed (provided that feature is turned on for your Microsoft 365 tenant):
