Changing the font settings for Outlook email

In the last month, I’ve had two customers ask me how to “fix” their font settings in Outlook. Somehow they got changed from what they were used to, and using the font settings on the Home tab only fixed the fonts for the email they were currently in. Here’s how to make the changes permanent…

In Outlook, go to File > Options and select the Mail option. From there, click the Stationery and Fonts… button:

Once in that dialog box, click on the Personal Stationery tab and click either the New mail messages or the Replying or forwarding messages Font button:

You can now make the settings for what your new emails or replies will look like:
