There’s also one other new SharePoint page banner… it’s called Fade. It’s not as impressive as the new Author banner type, but it’s worth knowing about. Here’s how it works and looks…
In this example, we have an Image and title banner at the top of the page with a colorful picture:
I clicked on the Fade banner to see the changes. You’ll see that the banner gets a bit taller, and the colors tend to fade out on the left side, similar to what a gradient might look like:
The Fade banner is a relatively subtle effect, and it may not be something that works for whatever image feel that you’re going for. But… it’s there for you to try out and use!
