Up until now, we’ve had the standard set of reaction emojis to use to convey how we feel about a particular chat message. However, there are times when you’d really like more options… and now you have them. Microsoft Teams has an expanded palette of emojis to meet all your non-word communication needs. Here’s how it works…
When you hover over the message and see the reactions, you’ll see a new one at the end of the group… a smiley face with a plus sign on it. Click on that emoji:
You will now see the full list of emojis that are available to Teams:
In this example, I went to the group that included a snowflake and selected that emoji:
And here’s what it looks like in my chat with Sandra:
