Chat bubbles in Microsoft Teams meetings

I find that it can be difficult during a Teams meeting to keep track of attendees, videos, and most of all… chat. However, Teams meetings now have a new feature called Chat Bubbles that makes it easier to see new messages without having to direct your attention somewhere else. Here’s how it works…

When chat bubbles are active (and they are turned on by default), new messages will appear at the top of the screen like little “bubbles”. This avoids having to open up the chat panel to keep track of everything, and the new messages appear in an area where you’re likely already looking at:

If this is something that doesn’t work for the way you like to see your screen during meetings, you can turn off the chat bubbles:
