Being able to easily access version history on files is a real benefit, especially when it comes to files stored on OneDrive. Now you can get to the version history in your synced OneDrive files using tools like File Explorer. This helps you avoid having to go into OneDrive on the browser to figure out if you need to restore an earlier version of a file. Here’s how it works…
In this example, I have my OneDrive Sync file location opened up, and I’m viewing the Presentations folder. I’m looking at my Game Of SharePoint Migrations presentation that is stored locally (that’s the green checkmark icon… it has to be local and not just a cloud icon which means it’s only stored in the cloud):

When I right-click on the file, I have the option to view Version history:

When I select that option, I get a pop-up panel that lists all the version history for that file:

When I click on the Ellipsis icon for any of the versions, I have the option to delete the version, download the version, or make it the most current version via the Restore option:
