It’s very common these days to have colleagues spread out in various locations, both locally and globally. As such, it can be hard when you’re trying to figure out what time it is in their location when you’re planning meetings. In Outlook, you can display two time zones in your calendar, which simplifies that task.
In Outlook, choose File > Options, and then click the Calendar option:
In the Time Zone section, you can choose to show a second time zone. Your calendar will now look like this:
Granted, I can probably figure out a one hour time zone difference on my own. 🙂 But if you’re working with offshore resources, this can help ease the mental time zone conversions which are all too common.
