Adding a hyperlink in a Teams message

As with many things Microsoft, there is usually more than one way to accomplish a task. This particular tip makes it much easier (for me, at least) to add a hyperlink in a Teams message you’re creating. No more hunting for the link icon for formatting… just a simple copy and paste! Here’s how it works…

Go to whatever site you want to link to and copy the URL from the address bar in the browser. Then in Microsoft Teams, create your message and highlight the phrase you want to have show up as a hyperlink:

Right-click on the highlighted phrase and paste the URL link that you copied from your browser:

As you can see, that highlighted phrase is now a hyperlink to the URL that you pasted:

This makes creating hyperlinks in Teams message really easy.
