There are times when you’ve created a video that needs to be updated, but you’ve already published the video’s URL in too many places to count. You’d ideally like to just replace the video and keep the same URL. Now you can in Microsoft Stream. Here’s how that works…
Here’s the video in Stream that I’d like to replace, along with the URL that points to it:

If I click on the Ellipsis icon, I see the option to Replace Video:

The Replace Video dialog box gives me the option to upload the new video and download the original video for safekeeping. It also clarifies what will be deleted and disconnected, as well as what will be saved once the replacement is finished:

Once I’ve selected the video I want as the replacement, I click Replace:

Stream will keep you up to date on what’s happening… first there’s the editing of the new video:

Then the uploading of the new video:

And finally the replacing of the old video:

When finished, I have the new video in place, and the URL is exactly the same as the old video. All the links that I’ve used in various locations will continue to work:

I have follow all the above steps to replace video however the upload % status did not show on my screen. It just show UPLOADING. Anyone know why?
