Share Stream videos as View But Not Download

There are certain situations where you want to share a video with an audience so they can view it, but you don’t want them to be able to download or copy it. Now you can do that with the sharing option of Can view, but not download. Here’s how that works…

I have a video file in this SharePoint document library. Clicking on the ellipsis for that file gives me the Share option in the pop-up menu:

When I click on the dropdown for the sharing options, I now have the option Can’t download. This means that people can view the video, but they won’t be able to download it or make copies:

This is the perfect option for those organizational videos that you want everyone to watch, but you want to keep controls over where it goes afterwards.
