When you create a new document library, you will see a set of new options in addition to a regular blank document library… Media library, Invoices, and Learning:
The Media library template comes with a number of pre-defined fields and features that are targeted at managing media for a department or organization:
The Invoices template helps track due dates and reminders that actions are coming up:
The Learning template is tailored for tracking classes and when they are due to be used:
None of these templates are such that you would use them “out of the box” and have them meet all your needs. But they can be a great starting place to see what’s possible and start building out your own processes.
